Key Features of the Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD Lens
Wide-Angle Prime Lens
Designed specifically for FX-format Nikon F-mount cameras, this lens can also be used with DX models, providing a 52.5mm equivalent focal length.
Fast f/1.4 Maximum Aperture
Excels in low-light settings while offering significant depth of field control, allowing for artistic separation of subjects from the background.
Advanced Optical Design
Incorporates four low dispersion elements that effectively minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing, ensuring high clarity and color fidelity throughout the aperture range.
Aspherical Elements
Three glass-molded aspherical elements help reduce distortion and spherical aberrations, resulting in accurate rendering and impressive sharpness across the entire frame.
BBAR-G2 Coating
The second-generation BBAR-G2 coating applied to the lens elements significantly reduces ghosting and flare, enhancing contrast and color accuracy, especially in backlit conditions.
Quick and Quiet Autofocus
Featuring an Ultrasonic Silent Drive (USD) autofocus motor, this lens provides rapid and precise focusing. The Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism improves focusing speed for the large f/1.4 optical system. Full-time manual focus control allows for close focusing on subjects as near as 11.8 inches (30 cm) with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5.
Moisture-Resistant Construction
Built to endure inclement weather, this lens includes seals for moisture protection. Additionally, a fluorine coating on the front element helps repel dust, dirt, and smudges, ensuring cleaner images.
Pleasing Bokeh Quality
The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to beautiful bokeh, enhancing the visual appeal of out-of-focus areas.
TAP-in Console Compatibility
Compatible with the optional TAP-in Console, enabling users to fine-tune focusing adjustments and update lens firmware as necessary.
