Product Overview
The Sony G Master Lens is engineered for exceptional resolution and sharpness, effectively correcting various spherical and chromatic aberrations. The rounded 11-blade diaphragm enhances bokeh quality, perfect for selective focus techniques.
Optical Performance
- Advanced Optical Design: Features one XA element for superior surface precision, controlling astigmatism, field curvature, and coma.
- Extra-Low Dispersion Elements: Includes two elements, one being Super ED, to minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved clarity.
- Nano AR Coating: Reduces surface reflections, flare, and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color accuracy in bright conditions.
Autofocus and Handling
- Fast and Accurate Autofocus: The XD Linear Motor system and internal focus design ensure quick, quiet, and precise autofocus, with enhanced manual focus control.
- Close-Up Capability: Minimum focusing distance of 2.3 feet allows for 0.25x maximum magnification, making it great for close-up photography.
- Customizable Controls: Two focus hold buttons on the lens barrel provide quick access to settings.
Durable Construction

Very goodAfter comparing a few options I went with the Sony FE 135mm f/1.8 GM Lens. Edge-to-edge detail is great, so my landscape shots look crisp. Chromatic aberration is well controlled and flare resistance is good. Exactly as advertised and it performs to the 135mm f/1.8 spec. Delivered to Gujrat in 3 days via PostEx and it was packed very securely. One star off because I wish it came with a few more accessories.
