Just received the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art Lens (Sony E) and it’s brilliant. Image quality is easily worth the money compared with other options. Sharpness is excellent across the frame, even wide open. The Sony E variant looks even better in person. Will be ordering more gear from here.
Finally got my hands on the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art Lens (Sony E). The bokeh is smooth and creamy, with lovely subject separation. Low-light performance is impressive and I can shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds. Exactly as advertised and it performs to the 105mm f/2.8 spec. I took it on a Skardu trip and the shots were incredible. It takes a little getting used to, but I’m very happy overall.
