Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR

The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR is the pinnacle of super telephoto lenses, featuring an advanced optical design with full weather sealing. This lens incorporates a pair of extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements along with two fluorite elements, enhancing sharpness, clarity, and color reproduction while minimizing various optical aberrations. The fluorite elements contribute to a lighter overall lens weight. To further improve performance, Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings are applied to reduce flare and ghosting in bright conditions.

Key Features

Super Telephoto Design: Designed for FX-format Nikon F-mount cameras, this lens can also be used on DX models, providing an equivalent focal length of 1200mm.

Fast f/5.6 Aperture: The relatively fast maximum aperture allows for shallow depth of field and selective focus effects, ideal for isolating subjects.

Advanced Optics: The combination of fluorite and ED elements significantly reduces chromatic aberrations, enhancing overall image quality.

Image Stabilization: The Vibration Reduction (VR) system compensates for camera shake by up to 4.5 stops, beneficial in low-light scenarios. It features a Sport Mode for fast-paced action and a Tripod Mode to minimize vibrations when using a support system.

Silent Wave Motor: The lens includes a Silent Wave Motor for quick, quiet, and precise autofocus, along with full-time manual focus override.

Durable Build: The magnesium-alloy lens barrel is dust- and moisture-resistant, making it suitable for challenging shooting environments.

Tripod Collar: A removable tripod collar is included for balanced support, featuring ball bearings for smooth transitions between horizontal and vertical orientations.

Teleconverter Compatibility: The AF-S Teleconverter TC800-1.25E ED is included, extending the focal length to 1000mm while retaining autofocus and VR capabilities.

This exceptional lens is perfect for wildlife and sports photography, delivering unmatched performance and reliability.
